CASE STUDIES

The Cockrum’s initially contacted me to redesign their exisiting website. Once we completed that project, they hired me to do some additional print design work and to create a new logo for the Commercial division of their company. Utilizing the great photography they have of the homes they build as well as their existing brand, I was able to create a package of branded materials that work in concert with their new website.

COCKRUM COMMERCIAL DIVISION LOGO

After meeting with the staff of Cockrum Homes, we stared in on the design of the logo for the Commercial Division of their company. Using suggested color schemes and typefaces, we went back and forth until we arrived on the final product. Cockrum Homes’ reputation in the industry warranted a strong brand for the Commercial division so I used bold typefaces and colors that highlight the strength of their business.

Initially I worked with Gebby’s BBQ’s staff and ownership on an identity package that included their logo, website and print materials and during our ongoing relationship we have added other items such as vehicle graphics for their fleet of catering vehicles and mobile pits. Using the color palette and typography from their original logo design, I have been able to create for them a cohesive brand that looks as good as their BBQ tastes.

GEBBYS’S BBQ & CATERING LOGO

Chris Gebhardt from Gebby’s came to me with some sketches and concepts for his new BBQ startup. After several rounds of revisions, we came up with the current Gebby’s identity.

Color combinations that remind one of the fire and smoke that goes into their products were implemented and typography from old west wanted posters were sprinkled in for that smoky Texas flair they were looking for.

GEBBY’S ROLLING BBQ PIT

I love seeing my work displayed in large print format. We partner with local contractors that provide services like cut-vinyl decals and vehicle wraps of our graphics for our customers. In the beginning Gebby’s had just this mobile pit and have since grown to the point where they have this and 2 new mobile catering trucks. I’m excited to be part of that growth.

Bubba’s Dirt and Landscape Supplies contacted me in 2010 with a concept. They wanted to create an identity for their new business that captured the values of integrity, hard work and family. Being from Texas, the business also wanted to maintain an identity that resonated geographically. We came up with Bubba. Everybody knows him. He’s that guy that’s always there when you need him. The guy that’s the last one to leave the job site. The guy that would give you the shirt off his back. This is why we call him Bubba.

Colorful primary colors paired with an original illustration make for a bold identity that can be mistaken for nothing but Bubba’s Dirt & Landscape Supplies.

On the site you will find information about Bubba’s products and services and a shopping cart where you can purchase Bubba’s Dirt merchandise.

The website is built using WordPress CMS and includes service area maps, lead generation contact forms, e-commerce shopping cart and links to their social media accounts.

“BIG YELLA” TRUCK DECALS

The rolling Bubba’s Dirt billboard. When Bubba’s approached us with this big, bright yellow, blank canvas we jumped at the chance to tag it with their graphics. With the help of some of our friends in the large format printing business, we were able to come up with a fun and bold rolling statement for Bubba.

Big Lake Software contacted me in 2016 to recreate their company brand. Taking into consideration their location in Phoenix, AZ.,their place in their industry and their desire to make a big splash in the world of technology, I created for them a full Identity package including a new logo, new responsive web design and downloadable documentation for their sservices. Utilizing their new logo, typefaces and color palette, the final pieces make for a consistent flow from screen to print and maintain the “techie” feel they were looking for.

I recently completed this project for Pro-Lit/digATX,  a legal documentation and services provider located in Austin, Texas. Pro-Lit/digATX wanted a single page website with navigation that directed end users to specific points on their page. Maintaining their current branding, I was able to create an attractive yet simple design that accomplishes the goals set by the company. The project also included the design of an editable pricing sheet for them to send to potential clients. Since their pricing varies from client to client, I created a document that they can edit on their end, saving them the costs of printing multiple documents per project.

RESPONSIVE WORDPRESS WEBSITE

A simple design that gets the job done. Utilizing a color palette pulled from their current branding, a single page design was created where users can navigate to relevant content from the main navigation bar.

Sections on the page include links to their online repository and file upload system, information on their services and bios and contact information for their staff.

EDITABLE PRICING SHEETS

Pro-Lit/digATX services vary in costs from client to client. Keeping this in mind, an editable pricing sheet was designed so that the staff can update the information in the template for each project they are involved with.

The design of this template included their current branding, typography and color palette and was delivered in a file format that can be used by multiple staff members saving the business the costs of printing multiple versions of a single document.
